Aldar Properties has launched a rent-to-buy programme for its unsold units on Al Raha Beach with a view to extending the deal to other residential areas.

The housing project requires a boost in sales after delivering the first phase of units in the Al Zeina district of the sprawling 520ha development that runs alongside the coastline between Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Handover to homeowners started in July. The first phase of the development consists of three precincts (C, D & E), with the remaining homes scheduled for delivery this month. It is one of Aldar’s biggest residential developments available to international buyers in a portfolio dominated by housing units for UAE nationals.The company is Abu Dhabi's biggest developer and the vehicle for the majority of government-led commercial and residential development.
